Hospice of Medina County is pleased to announce the publication of Sacred Stories: What Hospice Workers Know That Can Change Your Life. The book is a collection of stories gathered by Jean Linderman, former Hospice of Medina County Public Relations Coordinator. During her years working with hospice, she learned from staff members about the many life-changing stories of patients and their families.

A Board member was so moved by these stories that he proclaimed, "You should write a book." The idea stuck with Jean and, after leaving her staff position, she began interviewing the many contributors to the book to learn their stories. To ensure confidentiality, the names and sometimes the circumstances have been changed. As those of you who are associated with hospice can affirm, hospice experiences can change the way you view life and death.

The book's back cover includes comments from Hospice of Medina County's Executive Director, Pat Stropko-O'Leary, and Jeff Lycan, President and CEO of the Ohio Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
